BREAKING: Body of missing Missouri student found, police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn – The body of missing Missouri college student Riley Strain has been located, according to police.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department confirmed the news around 9:50 a.m. Friday.

Police say Strain was recovered from the Cumberland River in west Nashville, Tennessee this morning, about eight miles from downtown.

No foul play-related trauma was observed, police say.

The 22-year-old went missing after he was kicked out of a Broadway bar during a fraternity formal trip about two weeks ago.
